Unsolicited Submissions Policy

Effective Date: July 18, 2026

 

1. Purpose

November 8 Studios, LLC ("Company," "we," "our," or "us") develops and produces original creative works, including but not limited to podcasts, films, documentaries, books, scripts, articles, educational materials, websites, digital media, research, branding, merchandise, and related intellectual property.

To avoid misunderstandings and potential legal disputes, the Company maintains a strict policy regarding unsolicited submissions.

By submitting any material to the Company or any of its brands, including Frayed, through any communication channel, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Unsolicited Submissions Policy.

 

2. No Unsolicited Submissions

The Company does not accept unsolicited submissions of any kind.

This includes, without limitation:

  • Story ideas

  • Podcast ideas

  • Episode suggestions

  • Book proposals

  • Film concepts

  • Television concepts

  • Documentary concepts

  • Scripts

  • Screenplays

  • Treatments

  • Manuscripts

  • Research projects

  • Character concepts

  • Artwork

  • Logos

  • Brand concepts

  • Marketing ideas

  • Business ideas

  • Product concepts

  • Inventions

  • Software

  • Artificial intelligence prompts or generated works

  • Music

  • Lyrics

  • Photography

  • Video

  • Audio recordings

  • Creative works

  • Proprietary methods

  • Trade secrets

  • Any other intellectual property or confidential material.

Please do not submit such materials.

 

3. Requested Materials

This Policy does not apply when the Company has expressly requested materials in writing.

Examples include:

  • Employment applications

  • Contractor proposals

  • Guest appearance requests

  • Sponsorship proposals

  • Licensing discussions

  • Partnership discussions

  • Vendor proposals

  • Information specifically requested during an existing business relationship.

Only materials expressly requested in writing are excluded from this Policy.

 

4. No Confidential Relationship

If you voluntarily submit material despite this Policy, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your submission is not confidential.

  • No fiduciary relationship is created.

  • No attorney-client relationship is created.

  • No partnership or joint venture is created.

  • No agency relationship is created.

  • No implied contract is created solely because you submitted material.

The Company assumes no duty to maintain the confidentiality of any unsolicited submission.

 

5. No Obligation

The Company has no obligation to:

  • Review submissions;

  • Respond to submissions;

  • Acknowledge receipt;

  • Return submitted materials;

  • Preserve submitted materials;

  • Explain any decision;

  • Enter into negotiations; or

  • Provide compensation of any kind.

Failure to respond does not constitute acceptance, rejection, or consideration of any submission.

 

6. Independent Development

The Company continuously develops creative works and may independently create or acquire works that are similar or identical to ideas submitted by others.

You acknowledge that:

  • Similar concepts may already exist;

  • Similar works may already be under development;

  • Similar works may later be independently created or acquired.

You agree not to assert that the Company improperly used your submission solely because a Company project resembles your submission.

 

7. No Compensation

Submitting material does not create any right to:

  • Payment;

  • Royalties;

  • Credit;

  • Ownership;

  • Employment;

  • Partnership;

  • Licensing;

  • Future business opportunities; or

  • Any other compensation.

Compensation may arise only through a separate written agreement signed by an authorized representative of the Company.

 

8. Limited License for Processing

If you nevertheless submit material despite this Policy, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable license to receive, store, copy, review, archive, transmit internally, and evaluate the submission solely as necessary to administer, review, reject, document, or otherwise process the submission under this Policy.

Except as provided in a separate written agreement executed by both parties, ownership of any copyright in the submitted material remains with the submitter.

 

9. Intellectual Property of the Company

Nothing in this Policy transfers, licenses, or grants any rights in the Company's intellectual property.

All intellectual property owned by November 8 Studios, LLC remains the exclusive property of the Company.

This includes, without limitation:

  • November 8 Studios

  • Frayed

  • Logos

  • Trademarks

  • Service marks

  • Podcast artwork

  • Scripts

  • Research databases

  • Written materials

  • Audio recordings

  • Video recordings

  • Websites

  • Domain names

  • Social media content

  • Merchandise

  • Graphics

  • Branding

  • Educational materials

  • Copyrighted works

  • Trade secrets

  • Production methods

  • Business processes.

 

10. Risk of Submission

Anyone submitting material does so voluntarily and at their own risk.

The Company is not responsible for:

  • Lost submissions;

  • Corrupted files;

  • Damaged media;

  • Delivery failures;

  • Technology failures;

  • Unauthorized third-party access; or

  • Any other loss relating to unsolicited submissions.

 

11. Methods of Submission

This Policy applies to all unsolicited submissions regardless of the method used, including:

  • Email;

  • Contact forms;

  • Social media;

  • Direct messages;

  • Physical mail;

  • Courier delivery;

  • Telephone;

  • Voicemail;

  • Cloud storage links;

  • Messaging applications;

  • Artificial intelligence platforms; and

  • Any future communication technologies.

 

12. Reservation of Rights

The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:

  • Decline any submission;

  • Delete any submission;

  • Destroy any submission;

  • Archive any submission;

  • Return any submission where feasible; or

  • Refuse delivery of unsolicited materials.

 

13. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Policy shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Indiana, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts to the fullest extent permitted by law.

 

14. Relationship to Other Policies

This Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Company's Website Terms of Use.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Terms of Use shall control in the event of any inconsistency between the two documents.

 

15. Severability

If any provision of this Policy is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

 

16. Entire Policy

This Policy constitutes the complete policy of November 8 Studios, LLC regarding unsolicited submissions and supersedes any prior statements or practices concerning unsolicited materials.
